Dan and his daughter, Heather Mindrum, alongside Diane Mindrum and her son, Kurt Ponsor
Started in 1956, Mindrum Precision was the first non-winery business in Rancho Cucamonga. Paul Mindrum built the business from the ground up into a thriving enterprise, starting in his garage, and was the driving force in the initial success of the business, but eventually the torch needed to be passed.

Dan Mindrum, Paul’s son, began working at Mindrum Precision in 1973. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in the technical development of our lapping and polishing expertise. He is currently the Optical Manager for our Lapping and Polishing Departments and a member of our Board of Directors.

Left to Right: Dan, Paul and Diane Mindrum
Diane Mindrum, Paul’s daughter, began working at Mindrum Precision in 1985, with the intention of being groomed for a leadership role, and assuming the mantle of the President. She stepped forward into that position not long after, and has been the driving force in the growth and progression of the overall business ever since. She is currently our CEO and the Chairman of our Board of Directors.

Paul officially retired in 1992; Diane and Dan have since led the company into exciting areas of advanced manufacturing, while maintaining the successful core competencies that their Dad originally established.

The time will soon come again to pass the torch. In anticipation of that, the third generation of the Mindrum family has already begun working for their Grandfather’s company, and will ensure that the company continues to prosper for generations to come.
